From Monday 8th May 2017 when requesting a prescription it will now take three working days to process. This is a change from the two working days policy that we currently have in place. Please order your prescription early enough in order to allow for this extra processing time.
To order a repeat prescription you can use the prescription counterfoil, one of the forms in reception or simply write us a note including your name, address, medications required and which pharmacy you collect from if relevant and drop this in or post it to us.
You may also order online via the link at the top of this page.
To register for this service you will need to come in to the surgery bringing two forms of ID and we can activate it for you. Acceptable forms of ID are basically any official document that gives your name and address so examples are passport, driving licence, utility bill, bank statement.
If you do not want to use the online service but do have an email account please click here and send us an email.
For reasons of clinical safety we cannot accept telephone requests.
Please allow three working days for the prescription to be ready.
Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.
Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
